JOB DESCRIPTION Suzhou office GM shall possess proven leadership skills and has a wide understanding about different technology areas besides his or her own special one. He/she is fully committed to the values, strategy and business targets of the company. Suzhou office GM leads his or her own organization to meet the specified strategic and business objectives by ensuring the clear target setting in each level of one’s own organization. He/she takes responsibility of selling the entire Etteplan service offering to current and potential new clients and takes active responsibility for enabling success of the business in addition to one’s direct responsibility area. Suzhou office GM is able to create prerequisites for one’s own organization to raise its business volume by seeking out actively new business opportunities within the existing and potential new customers. RESPONSIBILITIES Customer relations * Works actively in close co-operation with customer’s representatives and develops the customer relationships continuously. * Leads sales and closes the deals. * Takes over the incoming business cases and is responsible for their successful execution in one’s own region. * Makes offers with one’s own organization for customers’ needs, both reviews and approves offers made by own organization. * Markets actively all Etteplan’s services to customers and seeks out actively new business opportunities. * Reports the customers’ profitability and development of the customer relationships to one’s own superior . Personnel / Organization * Sets sales targets for one’s own organization and approves sales plans. * Coaches and supports one’s own organization to continuously raise its level of performance. * Is responsible for developing the competencies of one’s own organization. Creates the competence development road map to ensure adequate resources to meet customers’ needs also in the future. * Ensures that the organization complies all applicable regulations, laws, employment standards and Etteplan’s internal policies. * Reviews regularly the performance of one’s own business region. * Carries out the managerial tasks according to company guidelines. Technology development * Assures that one’s own organization has necessary and up-to-date competencies and resources to effectively carry out all tasks addressed to it. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * B.Sc. or M.Sc. or equivalent knowledge in engineering. * Strong theoretical and practical engineering skills and demonstrated managerial experience. * > 5 years of experience in engineering in a leading position. * Language skills: English level 4-5. Chinese – fluent orally
